Paintball Shooting in Northeast DC Sends Victim to Hospital

Someone fired a paintball gun at a person in Northeast D.C. Sunday night, sending the victim to a hospital, police said.

The victim was standing at the 100 block of Florida Avenue NE near The Eleanor bowling lounge at 8 p.m. when they were approached by a vehicle, according to the Metropolitan Police Department. One of the passengers fired a paintball gun, injuring the victim.

The victim was struck by the paintballs and suffered non-life-threatening injuries. 

Police are searching for three males in a gray Volkswagen station wagon.
