Police say one person is dead after a three-car wreck in Arlington.
Police say 911 dispatchers received a call for a serious car accident at Glebe Road and Old Dominion Drive at around 8:30 p.m. on Friday. When paramedics arrived, they discovered one victim in the middle of the road, severely injured.
Police say that person was pronounced dead on the scene.
Police say initial reports suggest that a pickup truck rear-ended a Jaguar at the intersection and that the truck driver was thrown from the vehicle and killed. The driver of the Jaguar suffered minor injuries but did not require hospitalization. Police say after it was rear-ended, the Jaguar struck a third car.
The victim, who is in his late 40s, has not yet been identified.
