President Barack Obama can apparently take the heat -- on the golf course.
While most people in the Washington region were trying to find some A/C, the president's foursome arrived at Andrews in the heat of the day. His playing partners were White House Trip Director Marvin Nicholson, presidential aide Ben Finkenbinder and campaign photographer David Katz, according to The Hill.
When they showed up at the course at 12:40 p.m., the temperature had just reached 96 degrees with a heat index of 106, according to NBC4 meteorologist Chuck Bell.
The temperature was supposed to top out in D.C. on Sunday at 99.
UPDATE: The president's round of golf was cut short by severe storms that passed through the area at about 4 p.m.
