Repair work continues on a heavily used road in northwest Washington that was damaged by a water main break on Wednesday.
Officials said the 30-inch water main along MacArthur Boulevard between Q and Elliot streets. Water flooded the road and created a sinkhole.
Crews replaced the pipe Thursday night and spent Friday filling the hole with dirt. The road remains closed as repairs continue.
