Manassas Park City Schools Students to Learn Remotely Friday Due to Threat

Friday will be an asynchronous learning day for students in Manassas Park City Schools due to a threat.

The threat on social media was reported to police, who are investigating.

The threat was about a possible shooting at one of the schools.

A potential threat circulating social media was brought to our attention. Out of an abundance of caution, tomorrow, 12/10, will now be an asynchronous learning day for all students. All MPCS buildings will be closed tomorrow as the police department continues their investigation.
