We’ve known for a long time that Liz Crenshaw’s retirement would leave us with big shoes to fill. So we’ve come up with a plan to not only keep our commitment to consumer reporting but to extend it.
Starting the week of June 16, Erika Gonzalez will become our daily consumer reporter. She’ll report on consumer news of the day and continue the smart, impactful reporting that we have had here for so many years. Erika’s compassion, partnered with her reporting skills and interest in consumer issues will surely make her successful in this new role.
Investigative reporter Tisha Thompson will also expand her role and contribute more consumer investigative stories to our newscasts. Tisha’s natural curious instincts, her lifelong experience in Washington and her ability to tell a good story will supplement our consumer reporting and enhance our enterprise reporting.
