One person has died and another is in critical condition after a stabbing in Ashburn, Virginia, Friday night, police say.
Police arrived to the Ashburn Meadows apartment complex at 44492 Whitford Square about 6:15 p.m. after a child saw a man who was bloody come out of a wooded area, Loudoun County Sheriff Michael Chapman said.
Officers found a 19-year-old man suffering from multiple stab wounds.
He was airlifted to a local hospital and was in critical condition, police said Friday night.
Police searched the area and found a second man who was stabbed to death lying face-down in a creek, Chapman said. On Saturday, police said the man was 22. He has not been identified.
Police then searched the area for suspects. No arrests have been made.
Chapman said the stabbing may be gang-related.
