Motorcyclist Killed in Crash in Largo

A man has died after his motorcycle crashed in Largo, Maryland, Sunday evening, police say.

Maryland State Police said the crash happened about 6:50 p.m. at Landover Road and Central Avenue. A 2013 Honda CBR 600 motorcycle was taking the exit ramp from southbound Landover Road to westbound Central Avenue when the motorcycle skidded and collided with the guardrail and off the roadway.

Ali Hassan Aybu, 32, was found with critical injuries and was taken to an area hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries, police said.

The exit ramp was shut down for about two hours as police investigated. 

No one else was involved in the crash.
