A missing 67-year-old man who suffered from dementia has been found dead, Montgomery County Police said Wednesday.
The body of Harmohinder Bakshi was found around 4:30 a.m. behind the Dunkin Donuts at 12168 Darnestown Road in Gaithersburg. Bakshi was on the ground against a privacy fence along the property line and partially obscured by a snow bank.
Bakshi had been missing since around 6:45 p.m. Monday. He had been last seen at his home on Quince Valley Court in Gaithersburg.
The discovery of his body came hours before Bakshi's family planned to speak at a news conference asking for the public's help to find their loved one.
Police say foul play is not suspected and that the elements may have played a factor in Bakshi's death. An autopsy will determine exactly how Bakshi died.
