Maryland To Wear Uniforms Inspired By Anniversary Of ‘Star-Spangled Banner'

The University of Maryland football team, never shy in expressing its individuality when it comes to uniforms, will wear a jersey Saturday against West Virginia inspired by the 200th anniversary of "The Star-Spangled Banner."

Each player's name will be replaced by "TRIUMPH" on the back of his jersey as well.

The university also announced a 10-year partnership extension with Under Armour, meaning more of these unique uniforms are likely to materialize.
