A Hyattsville, Maryland, elementary school teacher has been arrested after police say he solicited a prostitute.
Prince George's County police said 29-year-old Martin Rye Brown, of Silver Spring, was arrested during a prostitution sting operation in Lanham on Tuesday.
Brown is a teacher at Langley Park-McCormick Elementary School, police said.
He has been charged with two counts of prostitution and human trafficking.
Police said he solicited a prostitute and rented a room that was used for prostitution.
He is currently in custody at the Department of Corrections, police said.
