A man accused of killing another customer in a Maryland restaurant in May was extradited from Georgia last month.

Deputies brought Rasheed Edwards of Temple Hills back from Georgia June 24, according to the Prince George's County Sheriff's Office. He faces several charges, including first-degree murder.

Edwards entered America’s Best Wings and ordered food about 9:45 p.m. May 4, according to authorities. Three more customers then entered the restaurant and placed orders.

While those three waited for their food, Edwards stared at them, according to the sheriff's office, and one of them asked Edwards if there was a problem. He said there wasn't, apologized and left the restaurant.

But seconds later he returned and opened fire with a handgun, fatally wounding Darryl Hairston, 20, of Fort Washington, according to the sheriff's office.

No employees of the restaurant were hurt.
