Mark Cooper's Death Marks Annapolis' First Murder of 2014

A 21-year-old man was found dead in Annapolis during the early morning hours Sunday, marking city's first murder of the year.

Crews responded to a report of shots fired in the 1100 block of Madison Street in Annapolis around 1:20 a.m. where they found the body of Mark Alexander Cooper at a nearby baseball field. 

Cooper, of Glenarden, Md. was pronounced dead at the scene.
