A man shot in the back in northeast D.C. Sunday morning has died.
The victim was hit at Fifth and K streets about 3:30 a.m. and was transported with life-threatening injuries.
Police closed the 400 block of Florida Avenue NE and 400 K Street NE to investigate.
Shell casings were found at Fifth Street and Florida Avenue.
