Man Steals Nearly $20K From Va. Convenience Store

The owner of a Falls Church, Virginia, convenience store says his store was robbed of nearly $20,000 the day after Christmas. 

The victim says he was closing La Bodega Supermarket on Arlington Boulevard when he noticed someone was still inside the store. The victim told the man the store was closed, but the suspect pulled out a gun and demanded money. 

Police say the victim compiled, and the suspect ran from the scene.

The suspect got away with nearly $20,000 in cash, according to the store's owner. The store also serves as a Western Union location. 

No arrests have been made at this time. 

Police say the robbery is under investigation.
