A man is missing and believed to have died after he dove off his boat Wednesday in the Chesapeake Bay, officials say.
The man dove off a boat near Hart-Miller Island shortly after 6 p.m., Maryland Natural Resources Police said on Twitter.
NRP recovery teams suspended the search for his body Wednesday evening and were set to start again Thursday morning.
Baltimore County public safety officials and the U.S. Coast Guard are involved in the search.
Additional details, including the man's name, were not released immediately.
