‘Worst Nightmare Happening Again': Man Dies in Suitland Shooting, 4 Years After Brother Killed

"The worst nightmare happening again when I haven't even finished grieving for my first son," their mother said

A Maryland mother is grieving after losing a second son to gun violence.

Tyrek Walker, 18, was shot while visiting a friend at an apartment complex on the 2500 block of Darel Drive, said his mother, Latash Massey.

Walker was pronounced dead at the scene, Prince George's County police said.

No arrests have been made.

Massey said Walker's brother, CJ Walker, was shot and killed four years ago at a bus stop.

"The worst nightmare happening again when I haven't even finished grieving for my first son," Massey said.

Massey hopes someone knows what happened to Tyrek Walker.

"I would love for you to step forward and to man up to what you did," she said.

A GoFundMe campaign has been started to raise money for funeral expenses.

Anyone with information that can help police is asked to call 1-866-411-TIPS, text PGPD plus the tip to CRIMES (274637) or submit a tip online. A reward of up to $25,000 is offered for information leading to an arrest and indictment.
