A Maryland man shot and killed his ex-girlfriend before taking his own life inside her Upper Marlboro, Maryland, home Sunday afternoon, Prince George's County police say.
Officers were called to the 9600 block of Meadow Lark Avenue at about 2:15 p.m. to report a domestic dispute inside a home. When officers arrived, the found 55-year-old Dannette Lawrence and 59-year-old Derrick Lark suffering from gunshot wounds.
Police say Lark shot Lawrence before turning the gun on himself. Lark was Lawrence's ex-boyfriend, according to police.
