A man died Friday when his car crashed into a tree in the parking lot of a Maryland shopping center, Prince George's County police say.
Officers were called to the 10200 block of Lake Arbor Way in Mitchellville at about 8:30 a.m. Friday.
Police say the victim's vehicle struck a tree in the parking lot. It's not clear what caused the man's car to crash.
The victim was pronounced dead at a local hospital.
