A man was found dead in Mount Rainier early Saturday morning with trauma to his upper body.
The man was found on Rhode Island Avenue near the Mount Rainier Library about 6:30 a.m. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police confirmed Saturday night that someone killed the man.
Prince George's County homicide detectives are investigating. Police said they haven't investigated a homicide in Mount Rainier in about four or five years.
No information has been released on how he was killed or possible suspects.
