Annapolis Rapper Tre da Kid Found Dead in Crashed Car in Annapolis: Police

Tre da Kid, or Edward Montre Seay, released an album earlier this year

Police officers responding to a shooting report in Annapolis on Friday found a man dead in a crashed car.

A caller reported the shooting to police about 9:20 p.m. Police say officers respodned to the area of Forest Drive and Cherry Grove Avenue and discovered a one-car collision.

Edward Montre Seay, 32, of Chester, had been shot. Police say they found him inside the car and he was pronounced dead.

Seay was a popular local rapper known as Tre da Kid multiple news outlets have reported. Earlier this year, he released an album called "Tdk: Titles Define Kings."

Roads in the area were closed for some time while police investigated.

No information about the identity of the victim nor a possible suspect was released. Police are investigating and ask anyone with information to call 410-260-3439.
