A woman and her young daughter were using a bathroom in a Virginia mall this weekend when the mother saw a mirror under the stall divider, the second recent peeping incident involving a man dressed as a woman, Prince William County police say.
The 35-year-old woman was in a restroom stall with her 5-year-old daughter at the Potomac Mills Mall about 3:10 p.m. Sunday when she saw the mirror and a camera flash. She rushed out of the stall to confront the peeper and saw who police called a man dressed in women's clothing exit the neighboring stall.
The pair struggled and the man ran out of the bathroom, police said. No injuries were reported.
The man was last seen running through the parking lot of the mall on the 2700 block of Potomac Mills Circle in Woodbridge.
Police described the suspect as a man about 35 to 45 years old who stands 5-foot-10 and has a heavy build. He was last seen wearing a long black-and-brown wig, a pink shirt, black cropped pants and black-and-white shoes. He was carrying a large red-and-black handbag.
A man with the same physical description and clothing tried to use a mirror to see into a women's restroom stall this spring at the Wal-Mart store within walking distance of the mall. The 53-year-old victim told police she was using the restroom in the store on the 14000 Worth Ave. store on May 15 when she saw the mirror under the stall divider. The suspect was not found.
