A jury has convicted a man of felony murder in the deaths of a northwest Washington couple in 2008, prosecutors said.

Jose Portillo, 22, was convicted on Friday in the deaths of Virginia and Michael Spevak. Two others had pleaded guilty in the case.

Michael Spevak, 68, and his 67-year-old wife, Virginia, were found beaten and stabbed in their home in November 2008. Computers and other electronic equipment had been taken from their home.
