  • Investigators found video of a teenage girl and a boy believe to be 6-to-8 years old being sexually assaulted.
  • Glenn Ranger was arrested near the home in Dundalk where he had been staying.

Child pornography found in a storage locker sold at auction led to the arrest of a Maryland man now accused of sexually assaulting two children, Maryland State Police said.

In late March, the person who bought the locker in Anne Arundel County found child pornography inside and contacted Easton police, who contacted state police. Investigators recovered thousands of photos of child pornography as well as hard drives, DVDs and videotapes, police said.

Video showed a man sexually assaulting a teen girl, police said. Police believe the man used a hidden camera to record the assaults in an Anne Arundel County home where he used to live. The assaults began when the girl was 16 and continued for six-to-eight years, police believe.

Video also shows the man sexually assaulting a boy believed to be 6-to-8 years old, police said.

Investigators traced the storage locker to the man who previously rented it, 55-year-old Glenn D. Ranger, who has been staying at a home in Dundalk for the past month. Police arrested him near the home Wednesday night.

Ranger is charged with three counts each of second-degree rape, second-degree sex offense, third-degree sex offense and fourth-degree sex offense as well as one count each of sexual abuse of a minor, sexual abuse of a minor with a continuing course of conduct, production of child pornography and possession of child pornography. He could face more charges.

Ranger is being held without bond.

Police have contacted the woman and are trying to identify and contact other victims. Anyone with information about Ranger and anyone who may be a victim should call state police at 410-819-4780.
