Man Charged in Potomac Mills Appliance Store Sex Assault

A 20-year-old man has been charged for pulling his pants down and placing himself atop a woman at an appliance store last week.

Police say a woman and a male acquaintance were walking into the HH Gregg store on Potomac Mills Road in Woodbridge last Friday around 6:30 p.m. when a man with his pants pulled down to his knees approached them.

The man then picked the woman up, took her to the ground and got on top of her, police said.

Multiple witnesses came to the rescue and the man, identified as Jaguar R. Williams-Palmer, was arrested and charged with attempted rape.

He's being held behind bars without bond and is due in court next month.
