A man has been charged after a fight in Ocean City led to the death of another man.
Darren Beattie, 21, is charged with manslaughter in the death of 31-year-old Ryan Shupert of Baltimore County, Ocean City Police said.
Investigators say early on May 29, Shupert and a friend were involved in a fight with four other men around 2:30 a.m. Sunday at 136th Street and Coastal Highway, police said. Shupert was injured, and died two days later at a local hospital.
In the aftermath of the fight, police said they were looking for the four men suspected in the assault.
Beattie, of Sparrows Point, Maryland, turned himself Tuesday morning, authorities said.
It wasn't immediately clear whether Beattie has a lawyer.
