Surveillance video was released Wednesday of a man breaking into a D.C. business on Wednesday, Sept. 7.
The suspect broke a rear window at a store in the 3800 block of 12th Street NE about 6 a.m., according to a news release from the Metropolitan Police Department.
In the video, the man appears to push forward part of a wall or closet door behind a desk, knocking over what looks like a small TV and a phone.
The suspect fled the scene empty handed, police said.
Police are in search of any tips to identify the person seen in the surveillance video.
