Before 8 a.m. Tuesday, News4 received several reports of confused voters in Prince William County, reporting to one polling place but being sent to a different location.

A GOP net gain of three seats gives Republicans an outright majority and the right to dominate Senate committees where many conservative bills have traditionally been killed.
All 140 seats in the General Assembly are up for grabs. With no statewide or national races on the ballot, voter turnout is expected to be light.
Nevertheless, News4's Megan McGrath reported that in Annandale, voters were lined up early at polling stations to cast their ballot before work.

Bowie, College Park, Gaithersburg, Greenbelt, Rockville and Takoma Park are all holding elections.
Polls open at 7 a.m., except in College Park, where polling starts at 11 a.m.
The polls at all 6 locations will close at 8 p.m.
