Last Chance for DC Residents to Get Health Insurance

DC Health Link is crisscrossing the city in a marathon enrollment relay to make sure residents are enrolled in affordable quality health insurance.

DC Health Link is partnering with city leaders, local businesses and civic groups to offer District residents one last enrollment chance, going non-stop for more than 36 hours at several different locations throughout the District to help residents obtain the health insurance they need before the Open Enrollment Period ends.

With a symbolic “enrollment torch” being passed from location to location, there will be enrollment opportunities in the District from 9 a.m. Saturday through 8 p.m. Sunday, where residents can go to sign up for quality affordable health insurance.

DC Health Link’s enrollment drive will continue on Sunday from 9 a.m. – 2 p.m. at churches throughout the District as part of the “Faith in Action Sunday” initiative. On these Sundays, faith leaders share information from the pulpit about the importance of good health and quality affordable health insurance coverage through DC Health Link.

Trained In-Person Assisters and health insurance brokers will be onsite to assist with enrollment. A list of churches can be found at www.DCHealthLink/events.
