Kwame Brown Tweets!

We haven't heard much from Kwame Brown, the former D.C. councilmember who pleaded guilty to bank fraud back in June and promptly resigned (a day after telling reporters he wouldn't be resigning).

Brown hasn't been sentenced yet, but since stepping down, he's popped up on Twitter a couple of times.

Today, his latest missive was a pixelated Instagram photo of a quote: "KARMA: No need for revenge. Just sit back & wait. Those who hurt you will eventually screw up themselves & if you're lucky, God will let you watch."

Sounds like Brown may be nursing some hurt feelings toward U.S. Attorney Ron Machen -- the man whose investigation into council corruption brought him down.

Aside from tweeting, it looks like Brown has at least one other engagement on his social calendar: According to Loose Lips, he'll be giving a lecture next week at the Session Law Firm about D.C.'s economic development legislation.
