Kidd Cole of ‘Catfish' Sentenced for Calling in Threats Against Metro

A Washington man who pleaded guilty to calling in threats against Metro stations, buses and trains in the nation's capital has been sentenced to 21 months in prison.

Twenty-one-year-old Jerez Nehemiah Coleman, who pleaded guilty in December to making threats involving explosive materials, was sentenced Tuesday in federal court in Washington.

According to a statement he signed, Coleman placed more than 300 calls to 911 from December 2014 to May 2015.

Coleman, also known as Jerez Nehemiah Stone-Coleman and "Kidd Cole,'' was once exposed on MTV's "Catfish'' reality show about online scams.
