It's Kennedy vs. Clinton in Virginia

Where's Jimmy Carter?

If it seems like the star power surrounding the Virginia governor's race is overshadowing the race itself, well, you're probably right.

No, former President Bill Clinton isn't running for office in Virginia. And neither is will.i.am.

Terry McAuliffe scored those hired guns early on, making the race seem more like a game to see who can get the most celebrities to follow them on Twitter.

Brian Moran, however, has fired back by winning the support of the Kennedy clan. Tweet that, Terry!

Congressman Patrick Kennedy, son of Sen. Ted Kennedy, endorsed Moran on Thursday. And Ethel Kennedy, Bobby Kennedy's widow, is hosting a May 27 fundraiser at the family's home in McLean for Moran.

The third candidate vying for the right to take on Republican Bob McDonnell, state Sen. Creigh Deeds, has been quiet on the celebrity front. But have no fear, we're sure he'll be rolling out the big guns any day now.

"Hi, Carrot Top? It's your old buddy Creigh. I need you to do me a favor..."
