K-9 Officer Finds Robbery Suspect Hiding in Port-A-Potty

Sar, a K-9 officer for Anne Arundel County police, knows how to follow his nose.

On Monday, Sar followed it to a portable toilet -- with an armed robbery suspect hiding inside.

Sar was called out Monday after two men reported they were getting into their car near Hiddenbrook Drive at Silent Shadow Court in Glen Burnie when they were approached by several people, one armed with a gun.

The suspects demanded cash and property, then fled. The victims gave them money and cell phones, then called police -- and followed the suspects. Police picked up the chase.

Police found the car -- with the passenger doors open. That's when Sar entered the chase, and alerted on a portable toilet in the area. Inside, police found suspect Dwight Denard Gunter, 23, of Brooklyn, Maryland.

Police also found a second suspect: Keith Wyatt McKinney 25, of Curtis Bay, Maryland.

A third suspect is still at large.
