A jogger sustained minor injuries in a collision with a Metrobus near the National Mall Wednesday morning.
The accident occurred around 7 a.m. at 7th Street and Madison Drive NW.
Preliminary reports suggest that a male jogger crossed the street against the light, and according to Metro, “made contact” with the right side of the bus.
He may face charges upon further investigation, according to Metro.
Metro said that the bus involved with the accident was the 54 route traveling toward 14th Street and Colorado Avenue.
