An 81-year-old man is missing from Spotsylvania County.
Jess Edward Gratehouse suffers from dementia and had just moved to Virginia from Texas, according to the Spotsylvania County Sheriff's Office. He may be confused about where he is, authorities said.
Gratehouse was last seen by family members at 11 a.m. Monday.
His credit card was last used at 6 p.m. that day in the area of New Market, Va.
Gratehouse has been spotted in the Charlottesville, Spotsylvania and Lynchburg areas between late Monday and early Tuesday.
He is five feet tall and weighs 110 pounds. He has green eyes, gray hair, a gray beard, and a mosquito tattoo on his shoulder. He was last seen wearing white sneakers, blue jeans and an orange T-shirt. He may be traveling in a 2006 red Nissan pickup truck with Texas plates CNL7005.
