Traffic officials are anticipating some significant delays as Beyoncé and Jay-Z bring their "On The Run II" concert to FedEx Field this weekend.
The celebrity couple will be performing at the home of the Washington Redskins Friday and Saturday night. Both performances start at 7:30 p.m.; gates open at 5:30 p.m.
Heavier traffic than usual is expected on the Capital Beltway, MD-214 and MD-202, the Maryland Department of Transportation State Highway Administration (MDOT SHA) says.
Police and MDOT SHA will be on hand to help with traffic. Major nighttime roadwork will also be suspended each night to help ease congestion.
