Two separate accidents involving tractor trailers are causing huge delays on portions of the Beltway's Inner Loop and the southbound lanes of Interstate 95 on Wednesday morning.
The inner loop closed was closed for two and a half hours Wednesday after a tractor trailer jackknifed just after I-270 in Bethesda around 4 a.m., spilling fuel into the roadway.
All lanes reopened just after 6:30 a.m., but some residual delays were reported in the area.

Another overturned tractor-trailer in Scaggsville, Maryland, blocked all southbound lanes of Interstate 95 between Route 216 and Route 198 for about an hour before two lanes reopened.
All lanes had reopened by about 8 a.m.
