ISIS Threatens Virginia State Senator

A Virginia state senator says the state's Capitol Police alerted him to a threat against him by the terror group ISIS.

Sen. Richard H. Black said police told him he was featured in a magazine published by ISIS that lists Black and others as "the enemy."

The Washington Post reports the magazine also featured photos of former GOP presidential hopeful Rick Santorum and CIA veteran Gary Berntsen.

Black raised eyebrows last year when he sent a letter praising Syrian President Bashar Assad that was posted on the Syrian president's Facebook page.

Black, a Republican from Loudoun County, served in the state house from 1998 to 2006. He has been a member of the state senate since 2012.
