Police are searching for an Idaho man and his baby who were recently seen in Montgomery County.
The man, 25-year-old Chase Rogers of St. Pocatello, Idaho, was with his 5-month-old son, Lucious, at a family member's home Wednesday, the Montgomery County Police Department's Special Victims Investigations Division said.
Rogers left Idaho on Aug. 1 without telling the mother of his child, police said. They confirmed Monday that the two are still missing.
Rogers is described as a white male, approximately 5’10” tall, weighing 190 pounds, with hazel eyes and blond hair, according to police.
Police said Rogers may be driving a purple 2008 Saturn Outlook with Idaho license plates that read 1BBG694.
According to a statement, police said they would like to check in on the welfare of Rogers and his son. Police asked anyone with information about Rogers or his son to contact the Montgomery County Police's non-emergency line at 301-279-8000.
CORRECTION (Sept. 16, 2019, 1:34 p.m.): The spelling of Lucious' first name has been corrected.
