Plans to add high occupancy toll lanes to Interstate 66 between the Beltway and Haymarket have been revised.
According to WTOP-FM, an earlier plan would have forced over 30 families out of their homes to make way for the HOT lanes. The new design reduces that number to 18.
The changes include moving a proposed flyover ramp and reducing the size of storm water management ponds.
