High-Tech 360-Degree ‘Peter Pan' Show Opens in Tysons Corner

A new, high-tech theater production of "Peter Pan'' is running this summer in a large tent in Tysons Corner.

The production opened Wednesday and will continue through Aug. 16. The 1,500-seat tent features "Peter Pan'' in the round, and the tent is designed to allow the actors to fly freely around the space.

The production features a 360-degree video projection around the top of the tent. The video images provide a backdrop for the live theater.

The show stars Daniel Rosales as Peter Pan, Stephen Carlile as Captain Hook, Jessie Sherman as Tinker Bell and Annapolis, Maryland-native Sarah Charles as Wendy.

The production premiered in London's Kensington Gardens in 2009.

The schedule includes evening shows during the week, three shows on Saturdays and two shows on Sundays.
