Sixteen local high school students competed for scholarships to pay all or part of the tuition to premier culinary colleges this weekend.
The students came from Prince George's County, and were selected to compete based on academic records, essays and their desire to pursue the culinary arts post-secondary education.
The results of the Careers Through Culinary Arts Program won't be revealed until April 9 in D.C.
