Two businesses were hit by gunfire in Silver Spring early Monday, police say.
Montgomery County police say they responded to the busy 8200 block of Georgia Avenue in downtown Silver Spring at about 3 a.m. for a report of shots being fired by someone in a vehicle.
Shots flew through the windows of The Big Greek Cafe and, next door, Abyssinia Restaurant.
No injuries were reported.
No information on suspects was released.
