Frederick Police Seek Missing Man With Autism

Police in Frederick, Maryland, are trying to find a man with autism who went missing from a day program.

Tijuani Rhomane Stone, 24, disappeared between 9:15 and 9:30 a.m. Thursday after walking out of the Community Living Vocational Day Program at 24 S. Wisner Street, authorites said.

Stone may have been seen walking east on E. Patrick Street near the Frederick Fairgrounds.

Authorities say Stone is developmentally disabled and has autism. He has run away at least two times in the past. He was found once in the area of Gashouse Pike in Frederick City, and the other time in Laurel, Maryland, they said.

Stone is about five feet, eight inches tall and weighs about 130 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes, and was wearing a blue or gray sweater and blue jeans.

The Frederick Police Department is asking the public to be on the lookout for him in and around the Frederick area. Anyone with information is asked to call 301-600-2100. Callers who want to remain anonymous can call 301-600-TIPS (8477).
