Nothing Located in Anne Arundel High Water Search

Fire officials say no one was located during a high water rescue attempt in Anne Arundel County.

Fire crews from Anne Arundel and Prince George's counties were called to the scene at Brock Bridge Road and Whiskey Bottom Road at about 5 a.m. Tuesday.

Witnesses told police they saw a car go down into the water, but did not see it come back up. Crews searched the area, but did not find anything.

Overnight rain left the Patuxent River swollen; a flash flood warning was in effect for the area until 6:30 a.m.

Brock Bridge Road has reopened between Whiskey Bottom Road and Route 32.
