Flags Lowered in MD For Fallen Soldier

Frederick County soldier killed in Afghanistan

Maryland Gov. Martin O'Malley has ordered that the United States and state flags be flown at half-staff in memory of a soldier killed in Afghanistan.
 
O'Malley ordered the flags be lowered on Friday from sunrise to sunset in memory of Army Spc. Ronald Wildrick Jr. of Woodsboro, Md. The 30-year-old soldier was killed Dec. 11 by a roadside bomb in Kunar province.
 
A service was held Thursday in Woodsboro and Wildrick's remains will be buried Friday at Arlington National Cemetery.
