Fairfax County police are looking for a 16-year-old girl who has been missing from the Alexandria section of the county for nearly a month.
Police say Xya McClure may have left with her mother voluntarily on Oct. 3, but her mother is not her custodial parent.
McClure is 5 feet 2 inches tall and weighs 160 pounds. She has brown hair, brown eyes, pierced ears and a scar behind one leg.
Police say McClure and her mom may still be in the Alexandria area, but they may have traveled to Washington, D.C.; Columbia, Maryland; Arizona or New York.
Anyone with information about Mcclure's whereabout should call Fairfax County police at 703-691-2131.
