Are you frozen yet? Icy weather continues to chill the D.C. area and Storm Team4 says some areas will see light snow showers overnight into Saturday morning.
Friday's high temperatures have hovered around the low 30s, with the wind chill making it feel much colder.
Storm Team4 says starting about midnight, a system will bring some snow to our area and as much as an inch of snow is likely early Saturday.
D.C. will likely get less than an inch. The snow will clear out by the afternoon. Look out for slick spots on roads into Saturday night. You can expect a high of 35 and low of 23.
Brutal wind chills have brought the feels-like temperature to the single digits. It was 16 degrees in D.C. early Thursday, but it felt like about 0 degrees with the wind.
With a high of only 25 degrees, Thursday tied Jan. 8 for the coldest day of 2017, Storm Team4 said.
On Sunday, New Year's Eve, Storm Team4 predicts a high of 26 and low of 20.
It will be even colder on New Year's Day, with a high of 25 and low of 15.
The cold can be deadly, D.C. Mayor Muriel Bowser warned.
"We want everybody to get inside. It can be dangerously cold outside," she said.
A Cold Emergency Alert is in effect in D.C. until 7 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 2. The city is giving access to overnight warming sites, emergency shelters and transportation to warmth and safety.
Unfortunately, the cold air is not going anywhere anytime soon, Storm Team4 Meteorologist Amelia Draper said. On the first seven to 10 days in January, we will have temperatures in the 20s, she said.

Bitter cold weather has taken hold of much of the northern United States and is expected to stay put for days to come as two Minnesota cities already have set record low temperatures and a city in Pennsylvania continues to dig out from a record snowfall.
