A 73-year-old woman was assaulted and robbed by four men while walking past a bus stop in Annandale, Va., according to police.
The woman was walking in the 7900 block of Heritage Drive just after 8 p.m. Tuesday when she was approached by four young men. One came up behind her and grabbed her purse, threatened her and struck her several times, police said. The group then fled the scene.
The woman was hospitalized for non-life threatening injuries.
