Ed McMahon’s Former Home Finally Sells

The longtime Beverly Hills Post Office pad of the late comedian, game show host and announcer Ed McMahon has finally sold for $3.475 million in an all cash deal, reports the Los Angeles Times. McMahon, who had been mainly out of the spotlight prior to his death in 2009, hit the headlines in 2008 when it was reported that he defaulted on his $4.8 million mortgage. None other than Donald Trump who offered to buy the first mortgage. The contemporary home eventually sold to another investor who rented it back to McMahon.

In October 2010, the home sold at foreclosure to a group of investors. According to the Los Angeles Times, the property underwent extensive repairs and staging and re-entered the market in November for $3.475 million.
